El Puno Viognier
Winemaker:
Winemaker Norrel Robertson is not your usual winemaker. Having done his wine apprenticeship in Oddbins Edinburgh he travelled the world to complete his MW. He is now settled in Spain. His non-traditional approach and a little Scottish passion combine to produce the El Puno range.
Tasting Note:
El Escocés Volante's El Puno Viognier is both full bodied and elegant, with crisp acidity, fresh stone fruits and a long mineral finish. The highly aromatic and fruit-forward nature of the wine allows pairing with spicy foods or Asian cuisine. The subtle floral notes make it a perfect match with sushi and sashimi.
